This Final Fantasy 7 mod, simply titled Hard Difficulty (Not Hardcore), was uploaded to Nexus Mods by bigbang6. It is just as the name implies, adding a second difficulty mode to the original game. This is nice because the original title never had more than one.In case people are wondering, it is possible to get the game running via 7th heaven in steam. In the launcher hit settings -> game driver -> advanced and toggle steam compatibility. Haven't gotten any achievements yet, but at least steam registers that the game is running. Steam overlay and achievements do work using these settings.

i get 60 fps menus but not battles. the 7th heaven mod check box says "60 fps battles" The aim of the mod is to preserve the 15 FPS animations, 30 FPS camera and Summons, and 60 FPS battle windows of the original.
